After 25+ years as a teacher and then administrator in New York City's special education District 75, I am sharing thoughts and experiences and musings on the life of a special educator in the NYC Board of Education (or Department of Education, as it is now called). Feel free to comment, make suggestions, agree or disagree. When I went into special ed, I never expected to stay this long! Who'd a thunk it?!
